Koneru Lakshmaiah University (KLU) has achieved a major milestone by securing accreditation from the Global Skill Development Council (GSDC), also becoming its Authorized Academic Partner (AAP). GSDC is an international certification authority headquartered in the USA, Switzerland, and Singapore.

The accreditation marks a major step forward for KL University’s vision, aligning academic programs with the global industry needs. As an AAP, the university will provide internationally certified skill development programs. These will focus on emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, DevOps, and Data Science, among others.

Elated by the achievement, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice-President, KLU, said, “This international accreditation reflects our long-standing vision of aligning higher education with global industry needs. It strengthens our resolve to equip students with world-class skills that extend beyond academic theory and into real-world applications.”

Dr. A. Srinath, Dean – Skill Development at KLU, added, “This is not just a recognition—it is a strategic leap. With GSDC’s globally validated certifications, we are now better positioned to offer our students and faculty cutting-edge training that meets international standards.

KLU will add the GSDC certification modules to its curriculum. This will be done through its advanced infrastructure, which features high-tech labs, research centers, and innovation hubs. Thus promoting hands-on, experiential learning and strengthening the university’s mission to develop globally competent professionals.

With this recognition, KLU solidifies its standing as a top university in South India. It stays committed to producing industry-ready graduates through globally benchmarked education and skill development.
