KL University is elated to share that it hosted the ARTORIA 2025, a vibrant two-day festival organized by the B.Sc. Animation and Gaming students at its Hyderabad campus. It was aimed at celebrating creativity, innovation, and collaborative learning. The event turned the KLU campus into a hub of artistic expression and digital exploration. It served as a professional platform for students to showcase their works while connecting classroom learning with experiences of the real world.
The exhibition featured a range of digital art, fiction-based projects, gaming concepts, and class assignments, which were truly impressive. They reflected the students’ evolving design thinking, creativity, and technical proficiency. This also gave the students an opportunity to apply their academic learning in a professional exhibition environment, engage with faculty, peers, and industry experts. This wa,y they also worked on their teamwork, communication, and creative industry readiness.
The event also drew the attention of leading industry professionals from Green Gold Animation Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Vinay Tiwari, Lead, Environment Assets, and Mr. Tirthadip Ghosh, Creative Director. The mentorship sessions and insights they provided on animation pipelines, production workflows, and industry expectations offered students valuable exposure as well as motivation to excel.
There were a variety of engaging stalls such as Face Art, Crochet Creations, an AI Innovation Booth, Origami, and handmade crafts, and several food stalls. Each space encouraged participation through interaction, which turned the event into a celebration of shared creativity and collaboration. Visitors were not mere spectators but active participants in a collective artistic experience.
Expanding its reach beyond the campus, the second day of ARTORIA 2025 featured a school outreach program that welcomed students from Glendale International School, Hyderabad, accompanied by Art and Craft Teacher Ms. Nishita Chowdhury. The visiting students enthusiastically explored AI-generated art, origami displays, and interactive gaming experiences curated by the Animation and Gaming department, gaining early exposure to digital creativity and storytelling.
Adding to the event’s inspiration, a special interactive session with Mr. Akash Tapadar, 2D Animator, Entrepreneur, and IIT Hyderabad alumnus, engaged students with insights from his creative journey, emphasizing discipline, curiosity, and the power of artistic perseverance.
The success of ARTORIA 2025 stood as a collective achievement of the students from all academic years. It reflects the institution’s commitment to experiential learning, innovation, and community engagement.
