KL University has added another major milestone to its global journey by becoming the only institution from India to join 21 leading Asian universities at the IIPC Global Entrepreneurship Forum in Nanchang, China. The event brought together innovation leaders from across the continent, offering a shared platform where universities exchange best practices, connect with investors, and build powerful cross-border networks to support student entrepreneurs.

Representing KL University were Dr. K. Narasimha Raju, Director of CIIE and Head of MDI&E, and Mr. Ramakanth Vallabhaneni, CEO of ACIC-KL Startups Foundation. Their participation in the alliance meetings held on 25 and 26 November 2025 placed India’s voice at a table shaping how young innovators pitch, collaborate and scale their ideas internationally.

The International Innovation Pitching Competition Alliance (IIPC) has been established jointly by TARUMT, Malaysia, JXVCFS, China, and KL University, Andhra Pradesh. The alliance aims to build an annual global innovation expo that promotes cross-border entrepreneurship, world-class mentorship, and strong ties between student innovators across Asia.

As a founding member, KL University gains direct entry into international pitching events, startup exchanges, and collaborative platforms with ASEAN and Chinese innovation ecosystems. This strengthens the university’s global presence and opens more doors for its student startup community.

The delegation also visited the World Green Development Investment and Trade Expo, where they explored the newest ideas shaping sustainability and future-ready development worldwide.

Speaking about the experience, KL University’s team shared that the interactions were deeply enriching, offering valuable exposure to leaders from academia and industry who are committed to supporting young entrepreneurial talent.

This recognition adds to KL University’s growing stature as one of the top universities in Vijayawada, known for its focus on innovation, industry-aligned education, and vibrant student ecosystem.
