KLH Aziz Nagar campus, a constituent of KL University, is all set to host an upcoming five-day Skill Development Programme named “Drone Components Fabrication and Assembling: A Practical Training Workshop”. This immersive workshop will be conducted in collaboration with the TiHAN Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation at IIT Hyderabad, a leading center for innovation in robotics and intelligent mobility systems. It is scheduled from 2nd to 6th January, 2026.
The workshop aims to close the gap between theory and practice and will offer a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience in drone fabrication, assembly, and operation. Participants will gain a solid understanding of drone structures, power systems, flight control mechanisms, and the fundamentals of autonomous navigation. The workshop also includes a special session on 3D printing for drone components, enabling learners to transform conceptual designs into real-world prototypes.
This programme welcomes:
- Undergraduate and postgraduate students from ECE, EEE, CSE, AIML, Robotics, and allied disciplines
- Research scholars focusing on drones, automation, or embedded systems
- Technology enthusiasts and innovators interested in exploring applications of drone technology in agriculture, logistics, environmental monitoring, and security sectors
The programme will include:
- Step-by-step training on drone component fabrication and system integration
- Practical exposure to flight control and navigation systems
- Insights into 3D printing techniques for drone manufacturing
- Guidance from experts in the field of autonomous technologies
Registration is free for selected participants, and the last date to apply is 2nd January 2026.
Together, KL University and TiHAN aim to nurture the next generation of technologists who can contribute to the growing field of drone and automation.
As one of the best universities in India, KL University stands firmly committed to giving its students the best of experiential learning and research excellence.
