Description

Block Blast is one of those puzzle games that feels simple at first then suddenly turns difficult when the board gets crowded and there are no moves left. I started building Block Blast Solver after seeing how often players got stuck on hard levels and endgame situations where one wrong placement could break a combo streak or ruin a high-score run. The first goal was simple: make a tool that could read a board clearly and help players understand their next best move in a practical way. From the beginning, I wanted it to feel useful for real players, not like a fake demo or a generic puzzle helper.

One of the hardest parts was screenshot detection because puzzle boards are not always clean or easy to map correctly. That challenge pushed the project from basic image handling into a better computer vision workflow, where I moved to YOLO and trained a model to detect the board grid and extract shapes more reliably from screenshots. After detection, the solver runs an algorithmic logic system that analyzes placements and returns step-by-step solutions designed to support stronger decisions, better combo flow, longer survival, improved score multipliers and higher scores.
