Description

Cascadle is a free daily word game with a twist that most word games miss: your old
guesses keep working for you. Each day you solve a chain of five words that grow from
three letters to seven. Crack the three-letter word and the entire board re-colours
against the four-letter answer — a row that was all grey can suddenly light up green.
You are never starting from scratch; you are rearranging letters you already hold.
That is the cascade, and it is why a session feels like momentum rather than a grind.

There is no guess limit and no lose state, so a bad opening never ends your run.
Cascadle scores you on tiles rather than guesses: every guess costs as many tiles as
the word is long, which keeps the short levels honest and the long ones tense. Solve
all five on the first try and you land a perfect 25 — the gap between 25 and your
score is the whole game.

One chain goes out to everyone at 00:00 UTC, so the score you share is directly
comparable with your friends', and the finished board makes a staircase of coloured
squares worth posting on its own. Streaks track how many days in a row you have
finished. If one puzzle a day is not enough, Cascadle Unlimited gives you endless
practice chains drawn from a separate pool, so practising can never spoil a daily
puzzle.
