Pokémon Connections is a free daily grouping puzzle built on real Pokédex data. Each day at midnight UTC a fresh board of sixteen Pokémon appears, hiding four secret groups, and everyone in the world gets the same one. The categories are drawn from things that actually connect Pokémon: elemental types, official body colours, debut generations, Pokédex species labels, and legendary or mythical status — 45 category types in total, spanning all 1025 species from Kanto to Paldea.

What makes Pokémon Connections click is that it never punishes you. There are no lives to lose and no clock. Guess wrong and you simply keep going; your score is the number of attempts it took, which is what you share. Every board is generated under hard constraints and machine-verified, so exactly one valid solution exists — each Pokémon fits one group and only one. The purple group is scored for maximum overlap with the other three, which is why it feels unfair and why it is usually best left for last.

When the daily board is done, Unlimited mode serves fresh boards endlessly for practice, and Pokémon Wordle asks you to identify a mystery Pokémon by comparing eight traits at once. Every past puzzle stays in the archive with its full solution. No account, no download, works on your phone. Fan-made and unofficial.
