Description
MCdle is a free daily browser game for Minecraft players: guess the block of the day.Every day at 00:00 UTC one block goes live — the same block for everyone on the planet. You type a block name, and MCdle scores your guess against six properties: the tool needed to mine it, its hardness, its blast resistance, whether you can see through it, whether it can be crafted, and roughly which era of Minecraft it comes from. Green means correct, yellow means close, and arrows tell you whether the answer is higher or lower. Every guess narrows the field, and the good players are the ones who guess to eliminate rather than guess to win.
There is no guess limit, which means there is no failure state. You will get there. What you're really playing for is your tries count and your streak — and since everybody is solving the same block, those numbers are directly comparable with your friends.
The data isn't from memory. Hardness, blast resistance and tool requirements are pulled straight from the game files, and every one of the 396 blocks in the pool has been reviewed by hand so that no two puzzles are unsolvable lookalikes. Past answers live in the archive, one page per day.
MCdle is free forever. No account, no download, no paywall. It works on a phone, it plays in five languages, and a round takes about two minutes.
