transcribe.mov turns audio and video files into text in the browser. Upload an MP4, MOV, MP3, WAV or M4A file – or paste a media URL – and get a transcript with timestamps and speaker labels in 99+ languages, powered by Whisper. Export as TXT, SRT, VTT or JSON for subtitles, captions or editing. Files up to 10 minutes are transcribed free, with no account; a free account adds 30 minutes. After that you pay per minute with prepaid packs – 120 minutes for $5.90, 300 for $10.90, 600 for $19.90 – no subscription, no monthly fee, credits never expire. Used by journalists, researchers, podcasters, agencies and non-profits. Built and run by one developer in Germany since 2023.
