Description
ClassQuill is a Melbourne-based software company building the operating system for tutoring businesses. Founded in 2025, the platform brings the day-to-day running of a tutoring company — scheduling across multiple tutors, invoicing and payroll, and a parent-facing portal — together with a teaching layer most competitors leave out: a curriculum-aligned question bank with AI auto-marking, and an AI tutor students can use between sessions. The category split years ago into two disconnected halves: tools that manage the business (bookings, invoices) and tools that manage the classroom (an LMS). ClassQuill's position is that a tutoring company shouldn't need both, so the two are built into one product from the start.
The team is small and self-funded, currently serving tutoring centres across Australia running curricula aligned to VCE, WACE, and HSC standards, with a white-label option so a centre can run the platform under its own brand. Pricing is per tutor seat with a free trial; no external funding has been raised to date.
