Description

Voice Remover is an online vocal remover that splits any song into two tracks: the instrumental, with the singing taken out and the band and beat left where they were, and the vocals on their own. Upload an MP3, WAV or M4A song, or an MP4 or MOV video. For a video, your browser takes the sound out first and only the audio is uploaded, so even large phone videos work. A progress bar shows each step, and most songs are done in about half a minute. Both tracks play on the page so you can compare them with the original, then download them as MP3, named after your original file. The site has two more entry points for the same separation: a vocal isolator that plays the acapella first, and a background music remover for videos and recordings that keeps the voices. Free use covers 3 full songs a day with no watermark and no sign-up; Pro and a one-time pack add WAV downloads and files up to 20 minutes.

What you get

  • Splits any song into two tracks: the instrumental without the singing, and the vocals on their own.
  • Takes MP3, WAV and M4A audio plus MP4 and MOV video; for a video, the browser extracts the sound and uploads only the audio.
  • Free use covers full-length songs, up to 3 a day, as MP3 with no watermark and no sign-up.
  • Play both tracks on the page and compare them with the original before you download.
  • Vocal isolator mode plays the acapella first, for remixes, mashups and learning a vocal part.
  • Background music remover for video and audio keeps the speech and drops the music, for vlogs, podcasts and interviews.

Pricing

Free for 3 full songs a day (MP3, no sign-up). Pro is $4.99 a month for up to 120 songs, or buy a one-time pack of 15 songs for $3.99 that never expires.

Try it: remove the music from a video and keep the voices, or start from the Voice Remover home page.
