Description

Henkanya is a free browser toolkit for Japanese text — no account, nothing uploaded. Paste garbled text like 縺薙s縺ォ縺。縺ッ and it tries every common encoding mismatch (UTF-8, Shift_JIS, EUC-JP, UTF-16, Latin-1), ranking candidates by how natural the Japanese reads. It also repairs MIME mail headers, old JIS mail with lost ESC codes, Unicode escapes and HTML numeric references, and converts CSV and text files to UTF-8 so Excel opens them correctly. Other tools handle full-width/half-width conversion and Morse code conversion and decoding. Everything runs locally in your browser.
