Description
Supplement Explained is an independent publishing project for people who want to understand supplement labels before they buy. The site brings together ingredient guides, comparisons of supplement forms, explanations of testing claims, and practical ways to compare product prices.A bottle with a lower sticker price is not always cheaper at the same labeled ingredient amount. Our free Supplement Cost Per Amount Calculator lets readers enter a price, servings per container, ingredient amount per serving, and a comparison amount. It shows cost per labeled serving and cost per comparison amount. For example, a $30 bottle with 60 servings containing 200 mg per serving costs $0.50 per serving or $0.25 per 100 mg. These are hypothetical inputs, and a comparison amount is not a recommended dose.
The guides also explain why ingredient forms, label amounts, and testing claims deserve separate attention. A lower calculated cost does not establish purity, label accuracy, effectiveness, or personal suitability. Readers can use the arithmetic alongside the information on the label and the limits discussed in the guides.
