Shoviv MBOX Converter decrypts and parses protected or encrypted MBOX storage streams directly at the raw bit level. By processing email payloads independently of original email clients (such as Thunderbird or Apple Mail), the software bypasses application locks and security restrictions without requiring source installation. During extraction, it reads encrypted MIME bodies, inline attachments, and header structures (To, From, Date, BCC) while fully preserving original data integrity and folder hierarchies. The tool decrypts files on the fly and converts them into healthy, accessible formats—including Unicode PST, MSG, EML, or directly into live Microsoft 365 and Exchange Server environments. Additionally, it allows users to assign new password protection and encryption to the output PST file for secure archiving and enterprise compliance.
